Legislative Council appointments.

With reference to the penultimate paragraph of my letter of 20 April to Galsworthy the Chamber of Commerce have again nominated Ross and I recommend that he be reappointed for one year. This recommendation is being included in an official despatch which will be sent by bag on Friday 23 June.

2. I am anxious for a very early reply since twelve appointments expire on 30 June.
