I have the honour to inform you that I have appointed Mr. K.A. Watson, OBE, JP, an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council, provisionally and subject to Her Majesty's pleasure, to be temporarily an Unofficial Member of the Executive Council with effect from 30th June 1967 during the absence from the Colony of Sir Albert Rodrigues, CBE, ED, JP.

Mr. Watson's previous temporary service, referred to in your Despatch No. 495 dated 11th May 1967, expired from 7 p.m. on 3rd May 1967 following the return of the Honourable J.D. Clague.

Copies of the Instrument of Appointment in respect of Mr. Watson and of the Gazette Notice promulgating his appointment are attached.
