In common with all dwellings in Hong Kong's Peak district the blocks are subjected to excessive humidity during the early part of the year and all internal wall plaster has a rough cast finish to reduce condensation. Fibreglass is used for underfloor sound insulation and floors are finished in teak parquet flooring.

The main entrance hall walls are finished in a colourful mosaic pattern and the terrazzo floors have “stepping- stones" of carborundumised granoli- thic panels to counteract the slippery effect of excessive condensation. Free standing aluminium letter boxes are provided in each entrance hall.

External works included driveways, covered parking areas, a substation, garden walling and sitting-out areas.
