The unit called the Casio-152 is incorporated in a compact, light weight case for desk-top use. The layout is quite clear and the keyboard easy to operate.

ALUMINIUM DOOR
Stirling is the name of a new suite of matching door and window furni- ture made by Evered & Co. (Hardware) Ltd., Surrey Works, Smethwick, War- ley, Worcs., UK. In anodised alumin- ium, with a satin finish, items in the range have a clear and precise styling suitable for home or commercial in- stallation.
The first two items to be announced are a lockset (S340AL) and a latchset ($341AL); both spring-loaded. In both is incorporated a hidden fixing arrange- ment comprising a plate force-fitted, after screws have been inserted which enables doors to be painted before final fixing of the cover plates.
The S340AL has a plate measure- ment of 5.5/16in. x 14in. (134.94 x 44.45 mm); size of its lever is 4.5/16in. (109.54 mm); centres to BSS 455 are 22in. (57.15 mm) and projection from door is 2.1/8in. (53.97 mm). The S341AL has a plate measurement of

WASH LAVATORY
The Hamilton 20in. x 24in. vitreous china slab wash basin for vitreous china pedestal or chrome plated legs, features straight sculptures lines and has wide ledges for toilet articles.
The large bowl has a concealed front overflow, anti-splash rim, and twin integral recessed soap dishes. The unit is drilled for 12in. centres, or may be drilled for use with concealed or exposed bracket chair carriers.

WARNING LIGHT
The Kenflash hazard warning lamp marketed by Alexander Kenyon & Co., Ltd., Akenco House, Elizabeth Street, Manchester, 8, UK, incorporates a printed circuit, a 1A bulb and two standard 996 lantern-type batteries having an operating life of approxi- mately 1,200 hours at 68 deg. F. Si- licone resistors ensure a high flashing rate of about 90 cycles per min.
The lamp houses its batteries with- in a yellow moulded-polystyrene case consisting of a box-like base and an overlapping lid. These two sections are held together by two interlocking bolts, designed to pass through from opposite sides.
The bulb housing, mounted on top of the battery-case lid, takes the form of two 7in. diameter lenses, set back to back and sealed around the edges by a rubber cowling which provides a high degree of weatherproofing and also

acts as a shock absorber should the lamp be knocked over.
Overall dimensions of the bulb housing and battery case are 7 in. wide by 5 in. deep by 13%1⁄2 in. high. A black-and-white tripod support with a location box on top to accept the lamp can be supplied. The tripod holds it at a height of 4 ft. from the ground to the centre of the lens.
DOOR SECURITY CABLE
A device that replaces the conven- tional door security chain by a retrac- table stainless-steel cable has been added to the Kenrick range of door furniture. It complements other com- ponents in the range and has the same type of corrosion-resistant Satylite- chrome finish.
The door security cable comprises a rectractable stainless-steel wire rope held on a spring-loaded spool in the

door-mounted housing, and a keep that is fixed to the door jamb. The cable's free end is attached to a slider that slots into a toothed aperture on the keep. A steel plate, integral with the housing unit, wraps around the edge of the door for protection against the rubbing action of the cable, and there is no loose chain to mark paint and woodwork.

LIGHTING CONTROL
The latest Selcon lighting control, type 250-10, is capable of handling loads up to 10 amp. 250v. a.c. without separate contactors.
There are two main parts to the switch: a plastic base unit with screw terminal connections and a mounting bracket; and a white, translucent-plastic domed housing, 34 in. (82 mm) in diameter at its base by 3% in. (95 mm) high, containing the electronic circuit, photo-conductive cell and switching relay. This housing attaches to the base by a bayonet catch.
