While it would be misleading to claim these as luxury quarters, they certainly provide a high degree of comfort for the families of Officers and Other Ranks during their stay in the Colony.
The plans for the first group of 36 flats were designed by Messrs. Chau & Lee before the land was obtained for the present development, and were taken over by the promoters of the scheme at the time of purchase of site.
They were detailed and executed by Messrs. Spence, Robinson & Partners, which firm have designed and carried out the remaining 66 flats.
