Pilkington Product for the Glass Age
Because of the way it combines a wide range of decorative possibilities with valuable protective qualities, glass cladding has become an established part of modern building practice. To meet the varying requirements of architects and builders Pilkington Brothers manufacture two products for this purpose:-
"MUROGLASS"—a Rough Cast glass with the coloured pigment fused onto the smooth underside during manufacture. Available in 9 attractive colours.
"ARMOURCLAD". -a specially designed ceramic enamelled and toughened glass, available in two forms "Armourclad" Plate (Polished Plate Glass through which the colour shows without diffusion) and "Armourclad" Cast (Rough Cast Glass which diffuses the colour). Available in 16 attractive colours.
