Gearless Passenger Elevators

After a corridor button has once been pressed, it positively will stop the first elevator available approach- ing the landing in the proper direction.

Car and hoistway doors open automatically as soon as the car arrives in the landing zone and with no action on the part of the attendant.

False and unnecessary stops are completely eliminated.

The excellent service rendered by Signal-Control is not dependent upon the mental or physical qualifications of the attendants.

Advance lighting of hall lanterns indicates to waiting passengers which car will surely respond to their call and they can be ready to enter as soon as the car arrives.

The elimination of unnecessary stopping and starting prolongs the life of the entire elevator plant and reduces the power consumption to a minimum.
