it comprises a single square-shaped prayer hall. topped by a gold anodis- ed aluminium dome and flanked on all four sides by a wide verandah.

Four smaller gold anodised domes are grouped around the central cupola and bold. upswept eaves reach far out over the 12 tapering and slightly finned verandah columns. to give the roof structure a massive and bulking appearance which sits well on the building.

Paved with marble slabs quarried from the island of Langkawi. off the north-west Malayan coast. the prayer hall covers an area of 2.500 square feet and provides accommodation for some 500 worshippers. Extra wor shippers can be accommodated on the 12-feet wide verandahs outside.

Eight marble lined columns ar- ranged in a circle in the central hall
