Much of the equipment in the workshops and in the gymnasium has come as a gift from the West German Government as a contribu tion to a vital rescue service. Basically the Society aims to make potential cripples, who could be a burden to themselves and to society. into self-supporting, self-dependent citizens of Hong Kong, by prevent- ing them from becoming permanent invalids.
