The hall ceiling is fair-face concrete which is sound reflecting. Audex sprayed vermiculite plaster is used on the stage ceiling, rear walls, and proscenium surround to reduce echoes. Flooring is teak strip and quarry tiles and dadoes are teak panelling. External finishes similar to the classroom block.

As much as possible of the site area has been utilised as open playground and a junior basket ball court has been fitted in by building retaining walls on the sloping part of the site. These walls are of 14in. granite blocks with recessed joints and concrete tie bands to emphasise the texture.

Surfacing of the playground area is in varying textures

Sketch plans approved by clients April 1966.

General plans submitted to Building Ordinance Office August 1966.

Tenders called November 1966. Work started on site March 1967. Building completed January 1968.
