The first floor is for use by the bank's administrative staff. All banking offices are interconnected by a private lift and staircase.

A book lift serves the ground floor. mezzanine floor and first floor. Close circuit television is allowed for but has not yet been installed.

PENTHOUSE

Perched right on top of the build- ing is a penthouse.

There are a

lounge, dining room. bar, kitchen. two bedrooms, three bathrooms, two servant's rooms with utility room. The main rooms are air-conditioned.

Adjacent to the lounge is a large terrace which includes a Japanese roof garden and pond designed by Mr. T. Sakamaki of Japan, who as- sisted in purchasing and shipping all materials required for the gar den from Japan.

Miss Lana Cheung of Hongkong was responsible for the interior de coration which features furniture and fittings from Hong Kong, Italy

and Bangkok.

Miss Cheung was

also in charge of the interior de- coration of the directors' room, manager's office and conference

room.

OFFICE FLOORS

There are a total of nine office floors provided with two fast pas- sengers lifts of the latest design. with autotronic operation with doors and architraves finished in polished stainless steel.

A service lift near to the passen- ger lifts provides service to all floors including the Lasement.
