Flooring is in teak parquet. En- trance and bathroom doors are of vertical skeleton core construction faced in makore wood.

On the fifteenth floor is a restaurant and night club decorated in the Hawaiian style, all the fittings of which will grow tropical plants. in Honolulu under the eye of of the owners of the new hotel, World Enterprises Ltd. This is an all- Hawaiian company whose first ven- ture this is in Hong Kong although it already has hotels in Hawaii, California and Japan. The night club decorations will be in carved volcanic stone and wood among which have been designed and made There will be accommodation for 200 diners.

General construction is in rein. forced concrete beam and column with a 14 foot centre, but there will be no columns on the fifteenth floor in order to give a clear space for the night club.

All doors from balconies to the bedrooms will be of sun-absorbing glass framed in aluminium. The bal conies have aluminium frames and railings, and are floored in mosaic tile.

Another unusual feature is given by the canopies over the main entrance. These are separate concrete slabs, each on a slightly different
