steel light weight and great strength. Despite their great load-carrying capacity, the longest units can be handled and put in place easily by two men.

Q-Floor units arrive at site bundled ready for lifting to the required floor level. An average bundle would contain 250 square feet of floor area and yet weigh less than three-quarters of a ton. This lightweight characteristic enables large areas of floor to be lifted to the exact required level with the minimum of hand- ling, thus saving time and money in labour and hoisting equipment.

Immediately the Q-Floor units are lifted to the required floor level they are laid between the supporting beams. No sub- sidiary lifting gear is required to move the units from the hoisting point across the floor level. Two men can handle and position accurately one unit (up to 38 square feet of floor area) in readiness for the welder to secure it to the supporting beams.

Each and every Q-Floor unit is tailor- made to suit the structural framework and is designed to fall into place with a minimum of site cutting and shaping.

Robertson Q-Floor construction speeds the entire job. The placing of the floor units can keep pace with the erection of the structural steel, and as each floor is laid, it immediately becomes a safe work- ing platform.
