To the left of the entrance hall is a corridor, to the south side of which are placed the three bedrooms while on the north side of the corridor two smaller rooms, which serves as study and spare room, are placed.

Considering the modest size of the bungalow, it is truly remarkable how much cupboard and recess space has been provided. Each room is a self-contained unit in itself, and living in a residence that has been so well provided for should be a gratification in itself.

Elsewhere in this issue we print an article on the cooling of buildings by means other than fans and air- conditioning systems. In this article the author states that it is almost impossible to convince people that a low-ceilinged room can be cool. We know that the author of this article and the architect of this house have not discussed this matter, yet evidently both have a thorough knowledge of this subject, for, as will be seen from the photograph taken of the interior of this building, the ceilings are not excessive in height, yet the coolness and airiness of every room is truly remarkable.

We have no hesitation in saying that this bungalow is one of the most interesting buildings of its type, and the principles incorporated in its designs can profitably be studied and copied in residential structures of similar type in the Colony.
