the church itself is situated on the first floor, the ground floor being reserved for the huge hall in which the social activities of the members will be centred. In the second place, the acute-angled shape of the lot is being taken advantage of by the architect to provide a wide roomy stairway in the bell tower from which triangular vesti- bules and halls give ample access to social hall and church without the sacrifice of essential floor space. A secondary stairway which, although an adjunct to the building pro- per, forms an integral part of the front facade. The body of the church will be three-storeys in height with a gallery forming the mezzanine at the third floor level. The triangular section above the hall is carried up with the tower stair hall to four storeys, the committee room and office being provided at the second floor, below the mezzanine, and two store rooms being provided at the fourth floor level below the belfry.

In addition to the church itself, it is proposed to erect a four-storey annex adjoining the main building which will accommodate the living quarters of the church staff.
