THE HONG KONG AND FAR EAST BUILDER

The architect's perspective drawing shown above illustrates the modern yet dignified appearance of the building which was designed with a view to allowing the most efficient systematizing of departmental routine. The beauty of the building does not depend upon embellish- ments and protuberances but in the proportioning of its various elements which are based upon the architect's direct approach in planning and designing it for its func- tional requirements.

The architect responsible for the design of the building | and the carrying out of the work is Mr. Kuo Yuan-hsi.
