a reinforced concrete bridge forming a pathway from the road to the main stairhall on the ground floor. From the Victoria Road level the building is three storeys in height, the lower level containing the garage, servants' rooms, laundry, and a large box room with inside steps leading up to the main floors.

One might say that the unique location has inspired the architect to design the house around the view, for

the outstanding feature is the large balcony which really is an adjunct to the lounge and dining room com- bination which occupies the main part of the ground floor. The pantry and kitchen and a small study together with a guest lavatory occupy the re- siduary space on this floor.

The top floor contains two bed- rooms, each with a large sized dress- ing-room leading into its own bath- The amount of cupboard and
