The auditorium, which is located over the ground floor car park, will ac- commodate 1,020 people; it is divided longitudinally by two aisles and later- ally by one aisle, apart from the aisle running completely around the audi- torlum, to allow quick and easy em- ptying of the theatre. Behind the last row of seats is a four feet six inch high dwarf partition of plywood. There is a large stage suitable for any type of stage show, but particul- arly intended for Chinese plays. Near to the stage is a store for scenery.

The curved staircase from the ground floor lobby leads to an upper foyer on the mezzanine floor, this has two staircases leading directly into the balcony, each emerging on lateral aisle. The balcony will seat 518 people and has four exits. At the back of the balcony are the projec- tion room, the rewinding room, room for emergency lighting equip- ment, a motor generator room, and two rooms for spot-lights. Also at this level are a large dressing room to serve the stage, a small box room, and the compressor room.
There is adequate lavatory accom- modation for the audience, at both the stall and balcony levels, with staff lavatories and rest rooms on an Intermediate floor between them.
There are two floors of offices over the main lobby at the front of the building, and these will be reached by a staircase or the lifts in the apart- ment block.
Adjoining the theatre on the Yee Wo Street frontage, there is a twelve storey block of apartments and shops. This block is approximately 110 feet by 33 feet.
