Into the two 90 degree angles formed by these two buildings will fit, on one side, a large playing field, and. on the other side, a one storey library set amid sweeping lawns.

The hall will have a large stage and backstage changing rooms for boys and girls. A special feature will be the use of full length French windows opening onto a covered walk and looking across the playing field. On special occasions, such as sports meetings, the hall and the walk can be used to seat spectators.

The buildings will be sited to the north and south sides of the site to provide the maximum area for the playing fields and lawns and will be laid out o provide through ventilation for alil the inter-connected blocks.

Eleven feet wide covered ways and specially designed concrete sun-breakers are provided to the assembly hall

and laboratory wing to exclude the westein rays of the sun and to balance the natural lighting within the building. Two small covered walks will also link up with the library building.

A 16 feet wide road leading off Castle Peak Road will run alongside the school and hall and lead to two car parks.

In the future, Castle Peak Road is to be widened from 20 feet to about 100 feet. The Government specified that the school be set back 50 feet from this new road line.

Piling, which is being carried out by the Kee Yip Construction Co. Ltd., will cost $99,000. Building is expected to cost $1,200,000.
