classroom Government second- ary schools has taken shape for the first time in the Perth Street Middle School a handsome, finely finish- ed piece of architecture.

Two other schools of this type are also under construction, one at Hoi Pa Street, Tsuen Wan. the other at Chai Wan Road, Shaukiwan

The Perth Street, Kowloon, School is on a site previously oc- cupied by old huts used by La Salle College. Piling commenced in De- cember 1962. Building begun in April last year and finished months ago.
