Eslon Pipe solves water problem of 40 million visitors to

Expo '70!

Expo '70-Asia's first world exposition is now in the midst of construction. Before anything else, the water supply and drainage systems using Eslon Pipe were completed. Eslon Pipe was laid underground throughout the Expo site for an extended length of 30,000 meters. The fair site originally being hills was such a place where water is not readily available, but the water systems newly constructed are capable of handling 65000 tons of water a day, so visitors from all over world will never have water problem. The Eslon Pipe used ranges from 75mm to 450mm in diameter. Especially the use of 400mm rigid PVC pipe as water supply main is first in Japan. Eslor. Pipe was chosen for its advantages of light-

ness and ease of carrying; fast and simple installation; resistance to ground distortion; no electrolytic corrosion despite stray current running throughout the site; and economy.
