One additional post of Rating and Valuation Surveyor and two of Valuation Assistant, Class III, were approved during the year to meet the growing work of the department. The addition of two Clerks, one Office Assistant and one Messenger has been found necessary to cope with the increase in clerical work,

Under Other Charges a significant increase ($103,500) is the provision to meet the cost of office accommodation due to transfer from Government-owned to rented premises.
