28-Sailors Home, West Point, $180,000. 4th instalment for the purchase of M.L. 187A in connection with the removal of the Home to a new site.
29.--Resumption of Royal Naval Canteen, $77,045. The removal of the Royal Naval Canteen is required in order to link up Queen's Road Central with Hennessy Road. The sum now asked for is the second and third of 4 equal half yearly instalments payable as compensation for existing buildings.
Anti Malarial Work.
30. --Permanent training of nullahs, $150,000. The vote is in respect of Hong Kong, Kowloon & the New Territories and provides for anti malarial work.

KOWLOON.
Buildings.
31.---Kowloon Hospital Maternity Block, $30,000. The building contract was placed in December 1930 and work will be completed early in 1932.
32.—Kowloon British School Site Formation, $50,000. This site is situated to the East of Kowloon Hospital. The vote is required for site forma- tion and levelling.
33.---Hung Hom Government Store, $1,000. The vote is in connection with
minor improvements to the Store area.
34.--Magistracy at Yaumati, $50,000. The provision of a new magistracy in Kowloon is urgently required. The existing building which is old and dilapidated was originally constructed as a Police Station and has inadequate accommodation for the purpose for which it is now used.
General Works.
35.-Roads, $100,000. The vote will meet expenditure incurred by road surfacing, kerbing, channelling and the construction of footpaths in new areas under development.
36-Drainage (a) Training Nullahs, $1,000, makes provision for stream
course improvement in areas under development.
(b) Miscellaneous Drainage Works, $125,000. This vote is mainly for the provision of Sewers and stormwater Drains in areas under development.
37.----Miscellaneous, $3,000. This sum provides for various small works
which may be required during the year.
38.-Water Works, $8,000. To provide minor extensions to subsidiary water mains in areas under development and miscellaneous minor works.
39.-Port Works, $1,000. Required for taking soundings, borings and preliminary investigations in connection with new and proposed harbour works, foreshore dumping etc.
