The ordinary expenditure exceeded the ordinary income by Tls. 6,412.38. The extraordinary income from various sources amounted to Tls. 4,778,143.77, and extraordinary expenditure (on electricity, land, roads and buildings) to Tls.

The ordinary municipal revenue for 1921 was estimated at Tls. 5,700,950, and the ordinary expenditure at Tls. 5,663,750. The extraordinary revenue (consisting of the estimated surplus on the ordinary income of Tls. 37,200, Miscellaneous income amounting to Tls. 20,000, together with Tls. 384,300 raised by Debentures in completion of the 1920 loan, and Tls. 7,000,000 to be raised by Debentures during 1921) provided an extraordinary income of Tls. 7,441,500; while the extraordinary expenditure of Tls. 5,700,000 upon the Electricity Dept., with additional extraordinary expenditure upon buildings and land of Tls. 1,711,250, added to the deficit of Tls. 12,177 brought forward from 1920 will leave a surplus of Tls. 18,073.
