The Colony's next black-out will commence on Wednesday, Feb. 26, and may last three nights, the Director of A.E.P., Wing-Comdr. A. S. Steele-Perkins, O.B.E.. stated yesterday at his weekly press conference.

The black-out may be called off after the first night provided co-operation from the public with regard to their share of arrange- ments toward a successful exercise is properly forthcoming.

The Director of ARP. will be empowered to continue the exer- cise on the further two days.

During the three-day period commencing on Feb. 25, black-out exercises will be conducted in various districts both by day and by night.

Work has been, commenced in the past week on a new tunnel un- der D'Agullar Street. This will probably be one of the largest tunnels to be built.
