Applicants received 56 per cent. of their requirements compared to 48 per cent in the previous week.

Wall Street closed steady.

Honey production of Saskatche- wan increased from 2,794,200 pounds, valued at $242,100 in 1938 to 4,262,600 pounds, valued at $376,400 in 1939. Number of opera-. tors increased by 180 to 4,180 and bee colonies by 4,220 to 28,000.
