Strong condemnation of terrorism was volced on Aug. 2 st” a momentous meeting of the Consular Body, Jasting nearly three hours, reports the North China Daily News.

Fourteen treaty Consuls-General and Consuls, including Mr. A. H. George, British Consul-General; Mr. Richard F. Butrick, Acting American Consul-General; M. F. Auge, Consul-General for France; and M. Yosblaki Miura, Japanese Consul-General, attend- ed the adjourned meeting in Council Chambers at 3.30 p.m.

The meeting was convoked at the request of Mr. W. J, Ken- wick Chairman of the Shang- hal Municipal Council, who appealed to the Consular Rody for its assistance to check the recent wave of terrorism in the Settlement.
