More Rainfall | WEATHER REPORT

Yesterday

Although there are some people in the Colony who feel that with all the rain we have had during the past few days we are "all set" for the year, it must be borne in mind that the Hongkong weather is so changeable that we might be in for a fairly long dry spell later in the year.

The best thing we can do, there- fore, is to keep in mind that in view of the experience of the past, when our water rations were stringently restricted through the really hot weather, we cannot do better than conserve the supply. rain much as it may.

Yesterday morning we had some 2.53 inches up to 10 a.th, and after that there was a further fall. The thunderstorm about 7 a.m. led us to expect some heavy downpour but all we had was drizzle in spells.

The forecast for today is Bouth winds, light to moderate; cloudy, occasional rain with thunder,
