CHUNGKING, June 3 (Central)-One of the nation's important achievements during the present war is that despite manifold difficulties, the six-year oplum suppression programme has been vigorously pushed towards a success- ful conclusion, declared Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek in an address on the 101st anniversary of the first destruction of oplum by Viceroy Lin Tse-hsu at Bocca Tigris in 1839.

The six-year programme will end this year.
