Large Number Of Arms Possession Cases

PLEAS WERE HEARD BY THE CHIEF JUSTICE, SIR ATHOLL MACGREGOR, WHEN THE CRIMINAL SESSIONS OPENED AT THE SUPREME COURT ON SATURDAY. MR. E, H. WILLIAMS, CROWN COUNSEL, PROSECUTED IN ALL CASES,

Five men. Wong Cheung, Lam Sang, Cheung Yau, Lau Wo and Wong Lot were charged with robbery and unlawful possession of arms and ammunition. The first three accused pleaded guilty to robbery of $40 Hongkong money. $40 Chinese currency, 300 Chinese copper cents and other articles at Cha Hang Village, New Terri- tories, whilst the second and third accused also admitted posses- sion of a hand grenade, two revolvers and six rounds of ammuni- tion at Fanling
