SHRIMP TOMATO ASFIC

21 cups canned tomatoes, item. spoon salt, stalk celery, 1 bay leaf, Iew Krains cayenne, 1 tablespoon granulated gelatin, 1 cup cold water, 1 tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice, tablespoon minced onion, 1 cup canned or fresh cooked shrimp, let- tuce.

Combine first five ingredients;' boll 10 minutes. Sprinkle gelatin over cold water; add to hot mix- ture with vinegar; stir until dis solved. Strain, add onion and shrimp from which the black vein has been removed. Pour into six small wet moulds and chill. When drm, unmould on lettuce, garnish with mayonnaise. Serves six To serve two or three make half this recipe.
