THE CABARET SUPPER AND DANCE HELD AT THE PENIN- SULA HOTEL LAST NIGHT in aid of the British War Organisation Fund and the China Relief Fund was attended by a crowd of about 1,000 people and was an unqualif ed success.

The function was organised by the Hongkong Chinese Women's Soldiers' Relief Association. a body of able and active Chinese' women who have been working incessantly and untiringly in the past two years raising funds for Chinese soldiers, and so far they have obtained over $200,000 for the Chinese wounded,
