FROM ROZA BROS. Silver prices dropped yesterday to the extens of 3/4 for Ready and 13/10 for Forward; the quotations being 21.1/16 and 20.15/16 respec- Lively. Silver advices reported India and Speculators as having suld, Bears covered to a small extent. The market was steady with small buyers at the close at 1/8 over the quoted rate, Amer- ican Silver was quoted at 34.3/4 for Spot

After ruling steady, the market improved on some Trade en- quiry.
NEW YORK COITON: There was a broadened demand, but Southern selling was noticeable. Prices closed firm on fears of in- flationary possibilities, while a large sale of goods, inducing more price-fixing, aided the market.
NEW YORK RUBBER: The market was steady, being largely the reflection of the firmness of the primary marketa. Tre ship- ments for 1940 are estimated at 58,000,000 unita, slightly more than in 1939. Stocks are low.
CHICAGO WHEAT: The market was easy on early local selling. and better commission Prices were steady later on less. pressure
