NEW YORK COTTON: A steady and good domestic Trade de- mand caused a late rally. Selling was represented by continued foreign liquidation and some Southern sales. The world carryover of American cotton, which, stood at a record high level of 14,100,000 bales on August 1. last. is expected to be reduced by more than two million bale during the year..

NEW YORK RUBBER: There was no manufacturer's interest. Dealer and Commission houses sold.

CHICAGO WHEAT: There was some buying on the estimate of a substantial reduction to below average Fields of the Australian crop, but we need möre buying power to maintain any advance. Bitterly cold weather conditions prevailing in the Winter wheat belt are reported.
