UPSETS IN ASSOCIATION LISSAMAN HOCKEY TOURNAMENT DEFEATED Central British And Radio Show Championship Form
(BY "RECORDER"}
THE "HOCKEY ASSOCIATION TOURNAMENT. made further progress yesterday when three matches were played off. Tho biggest upset of the day was the 6-0 defeat inflicted by the Central British Association on Club de Recreio at King's Park. Both teams fielded their strongest elevens, and Recreio, on paper; looked likely enough to draw.
A. SECOND UPSET WAS THE DEFEAT of the Nomads by KIT.C. team which included six newcomers. The 2-0 win för the Kowloon Indian Tennis Club, despite the fact Nomads were not playing their full team, came as a surprise. The third match played resulted in another win for Radlo, who defeated the Royal Corps of Signals 5-1.
