TRAWLER RESERVE TO COMBAT MINE-LAYING LONDON, Nov. 28 (Reuter) -Between November 19 and 23, eleven British ships, totalling 25,787 tons. two French ships.. totalling 3,000 tons, and four neutral ships, totalling 23,949 tons. were sunk by German action.

Cermany's laying of magnetic mines has brought an appeal from the Admiralty for two-hundred !rawlers and a far greater number trawlers. complete with crew. had already volunteered and will be formed as a special part of the R. N. V. R., becoming known the Trawler Reserve.
