The market was quiet,

COTTON: The Trade continues buying of Learby positions, ab- sorbing a moderate amount of hedging and liquidation The Spot market rules easler. Interest is now being centered on the outcome of the December position. We doubs much reaction, and continue favour, purchases of May and July contracts.

RUBBER: After a firm opening; the Spot market became easier, 108 1/2 causing dealers to sell. Trading was moderate. Sentiment was mix-

ed but there was some factory demand on declines.

FROM ROZA BROS. Silver prices were unchanged yesterday, "the quotations remain- ing at 23.7/16 for Ready and 23. 9/16 for Forward. Silver advices reported the market as being idle.

WHEAT; The market is steady in spite of a fair amount of | liquidation. There is no change in the unfavourable weather news. We expect hardening prices for Corn as the heavy feed- CORN: Ing season is approaching and the movement of corn into the Loan continues.
