RUBBER: The market today was quiet and steady with the shipment position tight. Some factory buying was evident. News that the Anglo-Soviet trade discussions are to be continued contri- butes to the favourable outlook.
COTTON: The market today continued to hesitate on the un- certainty of the Government Loan. Unsettling December liquidation coupled with increased hedge-selling met with a fair amount of sup- port on declines. We would buy on any further easiness, belleving that offerings will soon be exhausted as the favourable consumption outlook continues,
WHEAT: The unfavourable weather conditions continued to be a dominating factor.
