ACCIDENT TO A RIDER MARKS SECOND ROUND OF STUBBS CUP POLO

Two Interesting Games Played Off Yesterday

Two more matches were played in the Stubbs Cup Polò Com-- petition yesterday when Team B met and defeated Team C by seven goals to four, and Team A met and defeated Team E by eight goals to three. Both matches were played on the Hong- kong Polo Club's ground in Boundary Road, Kowloon and were watched by a representative gathering of interested spectators.

The first game, between Teams B (Red) and C (Wh'tế), was marred by an accident which fortunately was not attended with serious consequences. Major A 8. Godley fell of his horse in the third chukker and was badly shaken. He appeared to have been hurt in the head' in his fall and took no further part in the game, Capt. Chatty deputised for him.
