Oct. 2 (Reuter)—In the House of Commons yesterday, asked by Sir John Wardlaw-Milne (Com.), whether he had any state- ment to make in, resad to the Egyptian cotton crops, the Prime Minister replied; "Hls Majesty's Government recognize the vital importance to Egypt of the cotton crop now available for export and are considering what action they should take to assist in its orderly disposal "

LONDON. Oct. 20 (Reuter)---- Bacon Imports · from. Denmark, which have been suspended for a fortnight, are now to be resumed.

The Ministry of Food also an- nounced yesterday that rationing plans in this country are well advanced. Ration books will be issued at least ten days before the Introduction of rationing, so that people will have plenty of time to register with shops.
