LONDON, Sept. 27 (Reater)— The President of the Board of Trade, Mr. Oliver Stanley, stated in the House of Com- mons yesterday, that the Gov- ernment was anxious to main- tain trade with the Baltic cong- tries and Finland as far as the war permitted.

British trade officials were still at their posts in the Baltic ports and the Government "meant to keep them there. Mr. Stanley also stated that every effort would be made to see

that their export capacity was used as far as possible after essential home needs had been met.

MALAYA'S TIN ̧ QUOTA

SINGAPORE, Sept. 27 (Reuter)-- Domestic tin quota for the last quarter of this year has been fixed at 43 per cent. The figure is based on the international quota of 80 per cent
