Prentice Cup For Colony: Interporters Success
(BY JACK HY)
Recrelo A, the 1939 champions, by beating the Kowloon Cricket Club last Saturday, are now practically certain of going through the League season with a 100 per cent. win record. Their last match will be against the Civil Ser-" vants this week-end.
It is inconceivable that they should lose this match. but should this prove to be the case it will be in the nature of an anti-climax to an otherwise brüllant season.
Both the Kowloon Cricket form enabled him to score 27 shots Club and the Kowloon Bowl- including three fives) in nine) ing Green Club lost last heads, to eventually win by 31-17. Saturday and as à con-Charlie Rosselet too had an 'easy sequence Craigengower are me; he beat Adam Holland by now assured of being the First 12 shots. It was thought that J. Division runners-up.
G. Meyer might turn the scales in the Bowling Green's favour with a big win
By virtue of their victors over the Civil Servants, Re- creio B are now no longer in danger of being relegated to the Second Division from which they were promoted last year. However, there is a pos- sibility that they may end the season with the same number of points as the Kowloon Docks who are at the moment last in the Table.
REMOTE POSSIBILITY
He started off well enough against Dick Basa, being 12-2 in the lead on the 9th head, But he could not maintain this form and though he won fin- ally, he had only five shots to spare.
By beating the Civil Servants at home, Recreio B have not only avenged their defeat of last week,
Lady Northcote leading in Devonian (Mr. D. Black up after winning the Vaucluse Blan dicap at the Seventh tra Race meeting on Saturday. His Excellency the Governor and Capt. S. A. Batty-Smith, A.D.C., are in the background.
Shanghal. represented by E A Rosario, A. Maclean, W. A. Bailey. and, G. V. Jensen, won the final Interport against Hongkong by 29- 10, but as the Interport series had already been won by Hongkong as the result of their two previous wins, this game did not prevent] the Prentice Cup being brought to Hongkong for this year.

THIRD DIVISION
Recrelo, in the Third Division, W meet Hongkong Electric and should win. If this should be the case, or even if they tie in this, match they will seade the Third Division championship.
I think the Kowloon Cricket Club Hongkong won the Interport as Stanley, in which case the title will go down to the Prison Officers against Shanghai by two matches will go to Recreio Irrespective of to one. In the first Interpoit game the result of the Hongkong Elecrie (which was dealt with in my notes-Recreio match
