HAIPHONG DRAW WITH EASTERN

The Haiphong football teamă, which is on a visit to Hongkong, was entertained by the Eastern Athletic Association in the first of: a series of three matches at the Hongkong Football Club ground, yesterday.

The visitors drew with the home side, sharing eight goals.

Play was fast and Easter had the upper hand at the beginning.

Eastern had the kicked-off, and after Afteen minutes, play, Hau

Ching-to, left wing scored the first goal for the home team. The visi- tors make several attempts to break through the Eastern defence and their forwards were successful about 30 minutes later when Hol scored the equaliser.

ANOTHER GOAL The next ten minutes saw the home team putting pressure on the opponents' goal, and play was con fined to one half of the field, Hau Ching-to added another goal for Eastern. Within two minutes, Ip Fak-wah, inside lett, increased the lead.
