The bi-weekly services of Imperial Airways to and from London have been suspended and a service once a week will operate instead.

The next outward service will leave Hong Kong on Wednesday, 13th September and mall for this service will close at the General Post Office at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, 12th September. The usual notices will continue to be published in the Daily Press.

As from 5.00 pm, Monday, 4th September, the all up Empire air mail. service is suspended for the time being.

First class mail for destinations served by Imperial Airways whether included in the all up scheme or not will be subjected to a surcharge of $100 per half cunce if sent by air, in addition to the present air mail rates Letters may however be sent to auch destinations by surface transport at the following rates
