Home Teams Win By Easy Margins

Of the four matches down for decision in the "C" Divi- sion of the Tennis League yes- terday only three were played, the match between the Radio And Postal Sports Club and the Chinese RecreationTM Club being postponed.

In the remaining matches the home teams were victorious in all instances winning by convincing margins.

LONDON, Jane 28 (Beuter)-England beat the West Indies decisively yesterday in the First Test match by eight wickets.

Georke Headley, the West Indian “Bradman," who scored 108 in the tourists' first innings of 277, knocked up another cen- tury yesterd when he scored 107 in the West Indies second innings which realized 225 runs.

England declared at their over-lunch interval, Headley being 54 night total of 304 for five wickets not out, and the total 117 for 3. this morning on the third day of the First-Test against the West Indies, holding a lead of 127 runs on the first innings scores. ··
