Mystery Surrounds Briton's Death At Pootung: Collapse Of Mr. Tinkler's Colleague At Mill
SHANGHAI, June 8 (Reuter)-Another Briton belonging to the same com- pany as the late Mr. R. M. Tinkler, of the China Printing and Finishing Company, whose death followed an attack by Japanese bluejackets at Pootung, has died in mysterious circumstances in Shanghai..
In response to an urgent telephone call, an ambulance was sent to the Cus- toms Jetty last night and picked up Mr. H. McAllister, aged 35, who is stated to have collapsed in the Company's, mill at Footing across the river.
The cause of his collapse is not yet known and he was pronounced dead on his arrival at the hospital.
