NEW YORK, Juna 2 (Renter) -Lou Nova "beat Max Baer on a technical knock-out in the eleventh round of their fifteen- round bout here yesterday, the referee stopping, the fight.
Max Baer weighed 15 st. Oà Ib. and Lou Nova 14 st. ́8 15.
There was an overcast sky, but the weather was cool A crowd of 25,000 watched the fight, among those, present being Jack Dempsey. Tony Galento and Joe Louis
Nova was a 10 to to 11 favourite before the start of the Aght.
- Two-Handed Attack Nova, with a two-handed attack won the first round, in which the referee warned Baer for a foul blow. Nova however, appeared to be unhurt.

After a quiet third, Baer claimed a foul in the fourth, but they boxed on after shaking hands, Baer winning the round on the foui.
Terrific Pace
Both appeared to be tiring in the Afth round, which was fought at a terrific pace. Blood was coming from Baer's mouth at every blow, but he won this round and also the sixth, with left and Hight hooks to the ribs and head.
Nova "was showing signs of dis- tresses, but he improved in the seventh round and landed several right crosses. Nova kept up the attack in the eighth round in which blood was pouring from
