NOT BE TOLERATED ROOSEVELT

Gravity Of Situation Is Fully Recognized

LANDING OF BRITISH BLUEJACKETS URGED

LONDON, May 15 (Reuter)-Although there is no. comment, the newspapers, give full prominence to the Japanese doings on Kulangsu. Official quarters are still awaiting consular and naval reports from Amoy but it is unequivocally stated, that any attempt by the Japanese to forcibly interfere in the administration of Kulangsu cannot be tolerated. BRITISH PROTEST
