Appeals against conviction sentence by the First Magis- trate, Mr, R. A, D. Forrest, were brought in the Court of. Appeal yesterday before the Chief Justice, Sr. Atholl Mao- Gregor, by four Chinese Sap- pers of the Royal Engineers. Appellants were represented by Mr. Peter H. Sin, while Mr. J. B. Preptis, Assistant Crown Solicitor. appeared for the Crown.
