DEATH BY ASPHYXIATION OF AN OLD MAN. INTO WHOSE MOUTH AN ORANGE HAD BEEN THRUST AS A GAG IN THE COURSE OF A ROBBERY, led to the arraigament on a charge of murder at the Criminal Sessions yesterday before " the Chief Justice. Sir Atholl MacGregor, of five men alleged to be members of the gang which committed the crime.
